Dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s…

Cakes have become one of the most exciting parts of a wedding or event of any kind. Ordering the cake however can be a tedious process that if not properly prepared for can cause stress for all parties involved. Below is a list of things to remember and keep in mind before, during, and after the ordering process.

1. Come with all the ideas you can possibly think of – colors, patterns, pictures from magazines, ideas from TV, etc.

2.  If you are planning on a budget, keep it simple. Crystals, sugar flowers, etc. can end up eating up more of your budget than you would think.

3. READ your contract before you sign it!!! Ask questions, make sure you understand every part of our contract and how it differs from other cake shops you may have talked to.

4. Most of all, have FUN! Your cake is a culinary representation of you and your event. Be creative, our designers are here to help you make your ideas come to life through sugar!!!
